Finding the resources to best assist us in our situations can be overwhelming. This resource page is a bit of an info dump. Please reach out to us if you are feeling overwhelmed. We are here to help our communities achieve their goals.
Applying for OHP is often the fist step in accessing healthcare resources in Oregon. The qualifications for OHP coverage allow for access to most who otherwise would not have healthcare coverage.
Many mental and physical health providers can and will accept OHP.
Something to remember: Health services that say they will not turn people away for inability to pay will almost always refer to another agency when called.
When patients are at the desk, physically in the facility, they will not be turned away.
RESOURCES FOR VETERANS
Apply for Resources - Through a pre-screening form, TPI case managers can determine what benefits are available to assist.
Oregon Department of Veteran's Affairs - Will tackle the paperwork and suggest additional claims to file.

Outside In - Will not turn away for inability to pay. Offers testing and treatment.

Multnomah County - STI Testing, PrEP access. WILL NOT turn away for inability to provide payment. Call 503-988-3700 to schedule an appointment.

Oregon Opportunity Grant - Needs-based open-enrollment grant program for Community and 4-year colleges and universities.
Oregon Promise Grant - Grant for recent HS graduates.
Oregon Student Child Care Grant - Pays Part of Tuition to Off-Set Childcare Costs
Deceased or Disabled Public Safety Officer Grant - Offers grants to survivors of; Prison guards, Fire Fighters, Parole and Probation, and more who were killed or disabled in the line of duty.
