Applying for OHP is often the fist step in accessing healthcare resources in Oregon. The qualifications for OHP coverage allow for access to most who otherwise would not have healthcare coverage.

Many mental and physical health providers can and will accept OHP.

Something to remember: Health services that say they will not turn people away for inability to pay will almost always refer to another agency when called.

When patients are at the desk, physically in the facility, they will not be turned away.

While our knowledge on tax issues is typically limited, we are happy to do what we can to assist you in evaluating what decisions are best for your situation. We can also connect you to people and agencies who specialize in this topic.
